Privacy
Nothing about your play leaves this browser
That is the whole policy. The rest of this page is the same sentence with the details filled in.
The short version
MoosePlaying has no accounts, no player database and no analytics. Your scores, rank, Forest EXP and badges are written to your own browser's localStorage and are never transmitted anywhere. Clearing site data for mooseplaying.com deletes all of it, and we have no copy.
What is stored, and where
- Your profile
-
Forest name, EXP, antlers, run counts, per-trail bests and earned badges. Key
mooseplaying:profile:v1, in your browser's localStorage. - Sound preference
-
Whether you muted the site and at what volume. Key
mooseplaying:audio:v1, same place. - Cookies
- None. The site sets no cookies of any kind, so there is no banner to dismiss.
- Third parties
- None. No fonts, scripts, images or trackers load from any other host — the content security policy served with every page forbids it outright.
Server logs
The web server records ordinary HTTP access logs — the requested path, response status, timestamp and requesting IP address — as any web server does. They exist to keep the site up and are not linked to anything you do inside a game, because nothing you do inside a game is ever sent.
Your rights, practically
There is no export to request and no account to delete, because there is nothing held on our side to export or delete. If you want your data gone, clear site data for mooseplaying.com in your browser and it is gone, immediately and completely. Questions to privacy@mooseplaying.com.
